The Queen’s eight grandchildren have held a 15-minute vigil – with the Prince of Wales, the new heir to the throne, leading his cousins in paying their respects.
The event marked the first time William’s brother Prince Harry, who stepped back as a working royal in 2020, was seen wearing military uniform while publicly mourning his grandmother.
