NATO sends Danish fighter jets to join Lithuanian air force as a deterrent to Russian invasion

Danish fighter jets have joined Lithuania’s air force to patrol the Baltic Sea as a deterrent against Russia invading Ukraine.

Russia has been intimidating their neighbour with over 100,000 troops performing manoeuvres on the border.

President Vladimir Putin wants the US to rule out that Ukraine could join Nato in the future.
