Sudan Evacuation: UK passport holders will be first taken to Cyprus

The UK Government has announced that an operation is underway, sending evacuation flights for British nationals stuck in Sudan.

Sky’s Alistair Bunkall has witnessed an RAF plane leaving a base in Cyprus thought to be heading for the war-torn country.

The UK government are being urged to make the most of the 72-hour ceasefire to get British nationals out.
